I made my way across the sand into the largest “room” and found the petroglyphs, preserved in the graying limestone.  Like other ancient cave carvings or paintings, there were gods and goddesses, other figures, animals, and symbols– the mystery of which never ceases to amaze me.  A catalogue of culture, they make it impossible not to imagine the stories and traditions beaming out through their depictions.  A preservation.  A time capsule.   Continue reading Connecting in Puerto Rico: Taínos and Time Capsules

The Cashmere Diaries.   London:  Literary Legacy

Maybe I was crazy to leave the Mallorcan life I loved so much and relocate to London. I had to trade in my sundresses for cashmere.  It was time for CHANGE.  A new season was upon me. 
“Dude, you’re in London!” I was vibrating in the legacies of my literary heroes.  The ones impacting me most during my university days.  Those whom gave voice to the awarenesses simmering within me, shaping thought forms with inspiring prose.  Molding me.  Most notably Virginia Woolf, D.H.
